About this course

A Hotel Front Desk Agent is a professional who is responsible for greeting guests in an efficient and courteous manner. As the first face that many see upon arrival, the Hotel Front Desk Agent checks guests in and out of their rooms, distributes room keys, answers questions and processes payments for hotel services. They work closely with other hospitality associates to ensure a guest’s stay is pleasant and enjoyable while maintaining or adding value to the hotel’s reputation. The Front Office Department is the face and voice of a business, and in the hospitality industry, it plays a crucial role in elevating customer experience. As one of the many departments of a hotel business, it directly interacts with customers when they first arrive at the hotel. At Prime Academy, our Front Office Management courses are designed to provide students with sound technical and social skills to enable them to perform hotel front office operations with ease and confidence. This course prepares students on how to handle transactions between the hotel and its guests, as well as how to receive guests, handle their requests, and create a lasting impression about the hotel in their minds. After going through theoretical and practical training, which comprises one semester of 12 weeks plus 6 months of paid internship in hotels partnered with the institute, our students are well-equipped to take on the world of hospitality with confidence and expertise.
